Taichung Railway Rear Station
“Warehouse 20” in the rear station is a byword for a series of railroad warehouse regeneration projects for Taiwan Railway Station. As the first stop in “Railroad Arts Network” schemed by The Council for Cultural Affairs, Taichung Railway Rear Station is a transportation hub of the island, and its main station is also a building with hundreds of years’ history and distinguished architectural features, (which was built in 1917, and classified into Level Two Historical Site in 1995). “Railroad Arts," which transform freight warehouses into art studios or arts performing stages, aims to set up a new landmark to meet international standards for railway arts and to make international connections for ecotourism in Taichung.
